Believe it or not, but Mason City, Iowa is an mecca for lovers of the first real American form of architecture: Prairie School (made famous by Frank Lloyd Wright). You’ll be hard pressed to find any Midwestern City with less than 30,000 people to be blessed with so many architectural marvels.
